We ask that you only apply for this internship or position if you can agree, understand and commit to the following terms:
You own a lap top computer with wireless capabilities.
Are able to attend a weekly staff meeting and commit at least 15 hours per week from home.
You understand that there are no salary positions however there are opportunities to earn a substantial income with commissions from selling vendor booths, sponsorships, tickets & advertising package.
Internships are for college credit and/or experience only for the first 3 events or 6 months. After a successful internship, you will receive 70% of all the social events that you lead. After another 6 months, you will receive 90%all the social events that you lead or level 4 commissions on all the business you acquire for the company.
You have researched our company and understand that you will be quizzed about the companies we run and our upcoming events details.
You have reliable transportation and understand that you may be required to meet at multiple locations.
You are comfortable with working with limited supervision and being supervised by other interns in a group setting.
You understand that you will be required to attend other events to network and represent the company.
You understand that no matter what your position is with the company, you are required to assist with the marketing task for the company and the upcoming events. This may include using social sites, posted events & blogging.
Atlanta staff must be able to attend ALL scheduled events including the Las Vegas Convention if your internship has not ended before then.
Detroit staff must be able to attend the Fall 2010 Las Vegas Convention that we are planning and are ask to also attend the May 21, 2010 -May 23, 2010 Atlanta Shows if possible. Detroit staff must attend ALL Scheduled Michigan events.
Las Vegas Staff are required to attend ALL scheduled West Coast events.
