We are looking for interns with a love of fashion and an interest in communications and marketing to join our Fashion & Beauty Department. These internships and positions provide an excellent opportunity for a college student or recent graduate to gain real-world fashion experience.
Fashion ShowSquad(Internship term depends on how many hours your school requires. If you are not a student you must complete either 3 shows or 6 months)
Designer Sales (commission Based)
Fashion Show Sponsor Sales (commission Based)
Model Management Intern (unpaid, college credit available, ideal for someone wanted start a modeling agency in the future or street marketing firm)
Stylist Intern (unpaid, college credit available)
Fashion Show Production Coordinator Intern (unpaid, college credit available. This person orders the staging, lighting, sound etc. This person working on the seating chart and other technical task surrounding the production of the fashion shows)
After a successful internship: You may be offered a permanent percentage and elevated commission based position in the fashion department.
Some of the specific projects and task may require you to:
Brainstorm and execute new marketing and promotions initiatives.
Write product descriptions, blog entries, and other advertising and marketing related copy.
Draft and pitch press releases to the media.
Assist with or spearhead special projects/research designated to be vital to the growth of the company and fashion events.
Assist with all aspects of event/fashion show planning and execution.
Skills / Requirements:
Organized and energetic.
Strong writing skills.
Solid research and computer skills; a comfortable and energetic phone manner.
Highly motivated, strong communication skills and able to work well both with company owner in an atypical office setting (think home office, independent research, etc.) and with vendors and clients.
Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable, start-up environment.
Takes initiative.
